Your Comfort Comes First

You are always welcome to ask questions, request a change in pressure, choose how much conversation you prefer or speak up at any point during your session. You will be appropriately draped, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

Your Visit at Simply Divine

A few simple steps help make your first visit feel comfortable and entirely your own.

Choose Your Therapist

Explore each therapist’s approach and book with the person who feels right for you.

Share What You Need

Tell your therapist what you’re feeling, what you’d like to focus on, and any preferences that will help you feel at ease.

Settle Into Your Session

Your therapist will tailor the pressure and techniques to your needs so you can relax and enjoy your time on the table.

Before, During & After Your Massage

Before Your Visit

Plan to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. Avoid eating a heavy meal immediately beforehand, and let your therapist know about any injuries, health concerns, sensitive areas or areas you would like them to avoid. If you have a diagnosed condition, recurring symptoms, numbness or tingling, a previous injury or a repetitive-use concern, it can also be helpful to mention what activities seem to aggravate or relieve your symptoms.

During Your Massage

Your therapist will leave the room while you undress to your comfort level and get settled beneath the sheet. You will remain appropriately draped throughout the session. Conversation is entirely optional, and you may request changes in pressure, positioning, temperature or technique at any time.

After Your Massage

Your therapist will step out so you can get dressed privately. Take your time getting up, drink water as you normally would and pay attention to how your body responds. Mild temporary soreness can sometimes occur after focused therapeutic work.

Common Questions Before Your First Massage

It’s completely normal to have questions before your first appointment. Here are answers to some of the things first-time clients ask most often.

No. Undress only to your personal comfort level. Some clients remove all clothing, while others prefer to leave on underwear or additional clothing. Your therapist can work within your comfort level.

Yes. You will remain covered with a sheet, and only the area currently being worked on will be uncovered. Professional draping is maintained throughout the entire session.

Draping is the use of a sheet or blanket to keep your body covered during the massage. Your therapist will uncover only the area being worked on and will re-cover that area before moving to another part of the body. Private areas remain covered at all times, helping maintain your comfort, warmth and professional boundaries throughout the session.

Wear whatever is comfortable for you. Your therapist will leave the room so you can undress to your comfort level and get settled privately before the massage begins.

Massage should not feel unbearable. Some focused therapeutic work may feel intense, but you should still be able to breathe comfortably and avoid tensing against the pressure. Tell your therapist immediately if anything feels painful or uncomfortable.

You may request more or less pressure at any point. Pressure preferences can also change during a session, so you are always welcome to speak up.

No. Some clients enjoy conversation, while others prefer a quiet session. You are welcome to relax, close your eyes or let your therapist know that you prefer minimal conversation.

Share your goals for the session, areas of pain or tension, recent injuries or surgeries, relevant health conditions, pregnancy, allergies, sensitive areas and anywhere you do not want worked on.

Mild temporary soreness can sometimes occur after focused or deeper therapeutic work. It should generally improve rather than worsen.

Start by reviewing the therapist profiles and the techniques each therapist offers. Because every therapist has a different approach, choose someone whose experience and services fit what you are looking for. If you are unsure, you can text us for help narrowing down your options.
